In life and in entrepreneurship, transitions carry a special spiritual weight, even though the transitory moments are short. It’s the awkward gap in between seasons, when God speaks to us, directs us, heals us, and grows us in special ways. It’s the rare blank page between the full chapters of life.
If you are in between seasons, this guide is for you. I’ve seen too many entrepreneurs lose their way — right after they transition out of their business. Sometimes, they get into a “rebound” business, trying too hard to make up for whatever was missing before. Sometimes, they crash and burn, because they’ve been neglecting their heart and soul for too long. Sometimes, they don’t realize that they aren’t seeing straight. They can’t lead well and can’t love others well because all the unprocessed pain and patterns endured in the last season is making their hearts crust over. Sometimes, entrepreneurs go into another business and make the exact same mistakes as the first. And most of the time, entrepreneurs (myself included!) are still learning: our identity is not in our work, our venture, or our productivity.
I am convinced that God is speaking to you in this season. Leading you to the quiet waters. Tending to your wounds. Going before you. Waiting for you to open new presents He’s prepared for you. Holding you steadily. He’s right here!
Take some time. Make some time. The heavy, intense season you just went through was tough and hard to process on the fly, and often times, we lose sight of perspective — and ourselves. Would you consider taking some extended time to reflect?
If you are an entrepreneur or leader in transition, this guide is for you. Use the template below to reflect over 6 days (40-60 minutes / day)
